Just before installation began for our solar hot water system, we discovered a bad leak in the exact spot needed on the roof. "Stephen Skelton of Malachite Plumbing LLC. installed a solar hot water system for me two years ago. He was very easy to work with and the work done efficiently and in a timely matter. I am very happy with my solar hot water heater, it has been trouble free.
When it is sunny (which it mostly is in New Mexico) the system heats the water very well. This past winter when it was really cold and often cloudy the electric back up was more than adequate.
